Table with extension leaf

A table with an extension leaf is a table that has a removable leaf attached to the underside of the table.
The extension leaf (usually on both ends of the table) can be used to enlarge the table as needed, depending on how many people are to be seated at the table or what else, for example, dishes, food, or other items, are to be placed on the table.
A 4-6 person table can be extended for 8 or 10 people with 2 extension leaves, or the extension leaf can be used to place bowls and other table utensils and create a buffet.

The extension leaves are inserted with tubes into existing sleeves or holders on the underside of the table, forming a functional unit with the tabletop.
To ensure the stability and sturdiness of tables with extension leaves, a longer table (from approx. 150 cm in length) should be chosen, where the base is attached relatively far out. The extension leaves then extend the tabletop by approximately 50 cm on both sides.

A table with extension leaves is therefore a good way to use the space flexibly and create space for more people or dishes when needed.
