Solid wood tables

Solid wood tables are tables that are made from solid wood and not from glued laminated wood.
This means that the individual solid wood boards are cut from a single piece of wood and do not consist of several layers of glued wood.

Solid wood tables are very stable and durable because they are made from a single piece of robust wood. They can be made in various sizes, shapes, and styles and are suitable for use in living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, as desks, in conference rooms, and other spaces.

Due to the wood, solid wood tables have a considerable weight, depending on the size of the tabletop and the frame. The different thicknesses of the tabletop can support the character of the table. Tables with thick tops usually look rustic and quaint, while thinner tops appear more subtle. To visually increase the top thickness, the edges of the top can also be doubled, meaning a second layer of wood is glued under the edge, and the tabletop only has the thinner thickness in the middle.
Solid wood tables can be designed as live edge tables with organically curved edges, with straight-cut tabletop edges, or with other special edge shapes such as the Swiss edge or rounded edges.
